Wonderfalls
One of my favourite show that has very sharp, fast pace dialogue, a witty protagonist and a very original story. Definitely worth checking out. All the episodes is on youtube and check Wikipedia for the complete season guide.
Wonderfalls is a comedy-drama television series that was broadcast on the Fox television network in 2004.
The show centres on Jaye Tyler (Caroline Dhavernas), a recent Brown University graduate with a philosophy degree, who holds a dead-end job as a sales clerk at a Niagara Falls gift shop. Jaye is the reluctant participant in conversations with various animal figurines — a wax lion, brass monkey, stuffed bear, and mounted fish, among others — which direct her via oblique instructions to help people in need.
This show was created by the amazing Bryan Fuller who also made Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies. Both Wonderfalls and (especially) Pushing Daisies were inspired by Amelie. These shows are absolutely unique and magical in there own ways. If you're sick of cliche ridden cops/forensic/teen-angst dramas then check these out.
